Angkor Wat or “Capital Temple”

This is the largest religious monument in the world. It was first a Hindu and later a Buddhist temple. It was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and eventual mausoleum. The temple is admired for the grandeur and harmony of the architecture, its extensive bas-reliefs, and for the numerous devatas adorning its walls.

Yarra Travel Junction will be including a visit to Angkor Wat in our Group Tour to Cambodia and Laos departing 16th of September, 2016. So call in or call Lyn on 03 5967 1858.
